After a very slow day, with a good bit of rain again, Morris C. Worth
Jr., of Poorboys Fishin  Waverly, Ga.,pulled out to qualify in the first
position, with  Brad Smith of Dixie Cats, Kingsland, Ga., coming in a
very close second, both earning qualifying positions for the Cabela's
King Kat  Classic on Sept. 9th, at Santee-Cooper, SC.            
    Temple Creek Landing, Browntown, Ga.   7:00am.- 7:00pm.

Georgia Catfish        
State Championship
After a very slow fishing day, but with great weather, Wade and
John Sweat of Team Swampcats#2, from St.Marys, pulled out their
second tournament win of the year, by a mear 9ozs. Over Ron Dills
of Team Swampcats#3 from Brunswick, and Brad Smith of Dixie Cats,
from Kingsland, who was filling in for Tim Wilson of Team#3. The
first position, netted Wade and  John Sweat, their first Budweiser
Georgia Catfish State Championship. Their first major win since
winning the South Altamaha Flathead Assoc. Points Championship
in 2003.Congratulations Guy's! Wade and John will be traveling to     
S.C. To compete in the  Cabela's King Kat  Classic on Sept.9th, at
Santee-Cooper, SC.            Thanks to All the Sponsors !
